Yuji Itadori headlines Jujutsu Kaisen as its protagonist. A Sendai teen blessed with freakish athletic gifts, he downs one of Sukuna's fingers to rescue his friends, becomes the King of Curses' vessel, and joins Tokyo Jujutsu High as a special grade.
Baggy clothes make Yuji look slim, but the frame underneath is lean and corded with muscle, and he stands at a middling height. Light brown and fairly large, his eyes sit beneath spiky hair worn in a side undercut, rendered pink on screen and a brownish blonde on the page. Once he ate Sukuna's finger and became the vessel, a second set of eyes joined the markings that surface across his body, both visible solely while the King of Curses pilots him.
Early on he favored a pale hooded jacket, black pants cuffed high, and white shoes. Enrollment swapped that for his personal spin on the school uniform, where a gakuran-style black shirt layers over a red hoodie above dark pants and red shoes. Two scars, dealt by Mahito, mark him after Shibuya: one between the eyes, a smaller one near his mouth. When Sukuna crossed over into Megumi, the spare eyes and markings disappeared. Sukuna also wrenched off his left pinky to feed Megumi. A second digit went later as well, the left ring finger, surrendered to let Yuta Okkotsu replicate the King of Curses' slashing power.
Genuine care defines Yuji; he extends it to anyone he counts as a person with a will of their own, shallow acquaintance or close friend alike. The value of life and the dignity of a proper death matter enormously to him, so much that he treats killing a human as morally off-limits, reaching for it only when nothing else remains. Gravity aside, he is also energetic and outgoing, prone to comedy, hungry to train, and stubbornly fervent once a goal grips him. Though naive at first about curses and sorcery, he picks things up fast and adapts on the fly. Self-sacrifice runs deepest in him, kindled by his grandfather's final words, and it drove him to gulp down Sukuna's finger for Megumi and the others the very day they met.
Shibuya pounds those convictions hardest. Sukuna commandeers his body to butcher countless innocents, and the trauma and self-blame nearly crush him; seeing Mahito slay Kento Nanami and maim Nobara almost extinguishes his hope, until Aoi Todo drags him back from the edge. He comes out resolved to serve as a cog within the machinery that purges curses, still wanting to help yet hollowed by guilt. Sukuna's later jump into Megumi reignites that sharp hatred, and Yuji swears to devour whatever it takes to kill the King of Curses and pull his friend free. His outlook shifts once more by the end: he decides that even an unremarkable life leaves worth behind in remembered fragments, and that the unforgivable sin is dismissing any life as worthless.
Among Tokyo Jujutsu High's standouts, Yuji is named by Gojo, beside Yuta Okkotsu and Kinji Hakari, as one of three students fated to eclipse him. Walking in with zero jujutsu pedigree, he still trades blows with and exorcises curses ranked grade 1 and special grade alike. Cursed energy fused to a superhuman body makes him a premier brawler, swapping strikes with Todo, firing off acrobatic multi-angle attacks, the Taido-rooted Manji Kick, and feats of fine control such as freezing a punch a hair before contact. Walls crumble under him, he flings a car, sprints fifty meters in three seconds, and slips past sound-speed attacks while soaking up blows that would drop ordinary sorcerers. Hosting Sukuna additionally gifted him poison resistance and the sight to read the shape of souls, which is how he wounds Mahito.
Sukuna seeded his cursed energy, and even after the King of Curses left, a vast reserve stayed behind. His staple moves are Divergent Fist, a lagging cursed-energy surge that lands a punishing second hit, and Black Flash, the spatial warp triggered by timing cursed energy to within a sliver of a second of impact, which raises a strike's force by a 2.5 exponent. Absorbing the Death Painting Wombs rewrote his physiology, lending poisonous blood, the trick of turning cursed energy straight into blood, and the Kamo lineage's Blood Manipulation with extensions Convergence and Piercing Blood. On top of that he mastered reverse cursed technique, the anti-domain Simple Domain, and a Domain Expansion that rebuilds his hometown, its sure-hit driving the soul-cutting Shrine and its Dismantle and Cleave forms.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....

No. Yuji Itadori is Sukuna's vessel, not his son; he became the King of Curses' host after eating one of Sukuna's fingers. The series lists his father as Jin Itadori and his mother as Kaori Itadori, and casts Sukuna as his enemy.
Yuji Itadori survives the series and remains alive. Shibuya and the loss of friends nearly crush him, but by the end he resolves that even an unremarkable life leaves worth behind, and that the unforgivable sin is dismissing any life as worthless.
