The twenty-third Jujutsu Kaisen episode splits the team across two threats. Megumi clears the bridge curse only to face a Sukuna finger bearer, while Yuji and Nobara meet the Death Painting brothers and a deadly wasp technique.
Megumi succeeds in exorcising the spirit haunting Yasohachi Bridge, but the danger does not stop there. Pulled outside the barrier, Nobara and Yuji come face to face with the cursed brothers born of the Death Painting Wombs, and Eso threatens both students with a lethal swarm attack.
Yuji fights Kechizu solo, slipping past the spirit's corrosive blood and battering him with kicks and an improvised dropkick before noticing how the acidic fluid eats through stone. Inside the domain, Megumi and Nobara hunt the burrowing mole curse like a game of whack-a-mole until an outside force suddenly drags Nobara away. Megumi finishes the mole with Divine Dog: Totality, only to realize the barrier remains and a finger bearer identical to the one from the Detention Center emerges. He connects the dots: Sukuna's incarnation in June caused all the scattered fingers to resonate, reviving the bridge curse that had concealed one of them.
The finger bearer shatters Megumi's sword and slams him into stone, nearly knocking him out. Recalling Gojo's push to think beyond his limits, Megumi rejects a self-sacrificing summoning ritual and instead pictures a stronger future self, activating Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden. Riding frogs and liquid shadow, he outmaneuvers the curse, dodges a cursed energy arrow with a shadow fake, and finally strikes from inside its own shadow to exorcise it. Outside, Eso reveals he is hunting Sukuna's finger, and once the finger surfaces near the sleeping Megumi, he activates Rot Technique: Maximum: Wing King against Yuji and Nobara.
Drawn from chapters fifty-seven through fifty-nine, this Death Painting Arc entry first aired in Japan on March 20, 2021. A flashback shows young Megumi as a feared fighter scolded by Tsumiki, and explains how Gojo arranged for the school to support both siblings rather than letting the Zenin Clan claim him. Megumi's Divine Dog claws are noted as strong enough to pierce Hanami's hide. The Juju Stroll has Yuji and Nobara mistakenly believe Megumi is being flirted with, to Gojo's amusement.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
