The thirty-fourth episode deals with the fallout of Gojo's capture. Word of the sealing spreads through Shibuya, and the scattered sorcerers must abandon their assignments and unite around a single goal: tearing open the curtain and freeing their captured ally.
Kokichi Muta planned for his own death by leaving behind a small relay device shaped like Ultimate Mechamaru's face. One of these attaches to Yuji's ear, and after nearly crushing it, Yuji listens long enough to hear that Gojo has been sealed. Below ground, Gojo is locked inside Prison Realm. Before the seal finishes, he calls out to Suguru, urging him to wake and resist control. Geto's own hand briefly grips his throat in rebellion, a phenomenon the imposter finds fascinating and uses to argue with Mahito about the nature of body and soul. Annoyed, Gojo tells them to hurry, and the seal is completed.
Back at Harajuku, Mei Mei refuses to trust Mechamaru without proof, even floating the idea that she herself could be a mole. He counters that curse users are already en route to kill her, since her team was among the least likely to betray anyone. Yuji begs her to follow Mechamaru's instructions, and she agrees. The plan is for her team to clear a path so Yuji can reenter Shibuya and broadcast the news of the sealing.
Prison Realm grows enormously heavy and drops to the ground, needing time to process Gojo. Inside, trapped where time does not pass, Gojo stays calm, certain his allies will handle the rest. New curtains spread across the city as transfigured humans attack trapped civilians, and the standby teams under Nanami and Kusakabe are finally deployed. Outside the barrier, Ijichi is ambushed and stabbed repeatedly by Haruta Shigemo, while Uraume orders the curse user to target every manager around the perimeter.
Yuji storms into the curtain, kills several monsters, climbs a tall building, and screams the news for the whole city to hear, calling Nanami by name. Nanami immediately reroutes his team. With sorcerers converging, Mahito proposes a grim game among the curses: whoever reaches Yuji first decides his fate, with Jogo hoping to feed him fingers and turn him into Sukuna. Pseudo-Geto coldly dismisses Mimiko and Nanako when they demand Geto's body back. Team Nanami finds Yuji, and Ino vows they will bring the curtain down and rescue Gojo no matter the cost.
The episode adapts chapters spanning the early Shibuya rescue effort and introduces Jiro Awasaka, Ogami, and Ogami's grandson. Ino delivers a stark explanation of the stakes: if Gojo is not freed, the Gojo clan's fall will spark infighting among sorcerers, leaving an opening for evil and ending the age of humans in Japan. Mechamaru only seeded three relay devices, reserving them for teams least likely to harbor traitors. Minor anime adjustments include the Prison Realm's eyes weeping as they open and Shigemo stepping on Ijichi's head, details not present in the manga.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
