The eighth episode of Jujutsu Kaisen brings rival students down from Kyoto to needle Megumi and Nobara ahead of the Goodwill Event, while Gojo confronts the jujutsu conservatives and a fresh investigation opens for Yuji.
Aoi Todo and Mai Zenin arrive with the Kyoto principal and waste no time provoking the Tokyo first-years. Todo demands to know Megumi's taste in women, deems his answer dull, and attacks him on the spot, while Mai squares off against Nobara. The clashes end without a clear winner once Panda, Toge, and Maki intervene.
Gojo, meanwhile, muscles his way into a meeting with Principal Gakuganji to challenge the old guard, and a month later Yuji is assigned to investigate a string of grotesque deaths at a movie theater.
Todo, the sorcerer who cleared the Night Line of 100 Demons, brutalizes Megumi with raw strength; Megumi pairs Nue with Toad to summon winged toads but cannot turn the tide alone. Nobara is shot down by Mai before rallying, and the two pairs trade insults as much as blows. Gojo lectures Gakuganji that unregistered special grades and gifted students will outpace the traditions of the old jujutsu world, drawing the principal's irritation.
The episode closes by setting the next mission in motion: three heavily mutated corpses turn up at the Kinema Cinema, Mahito slips away unseen except by a watchful young man, and Yuji is paired with a new sorcerer to look into the case.
The installment adapts the back of Chapter 16 through Chapter 18 in the Fearsome Womb arc, introducing Aoi Todo, Mai Zenin, Yoshinobu Gakuganji, Kasumi Miwa, Junpei Yoshino, and Kento Nanami. Side beats include Maki revealing she became a sorcerer to spite her belittling clan, and Todo dashing off to meet the idol Takada-chan. This is the first episode to feature both a post-credit scene, in which Miwa lands her selfie with Gojo, and a Juju Stroll, where Mai unexpectedly warms to Takada-chan. The opening theme is Kaikai Kitan and the ending is Lost in Paradise.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
