Summary

Caught alone against an unregistered special grade, Gojo only finds the prospect exciting, even as Jogo notes how little caution he shows. Gojo understands he was deliberately drawn out where no reinforcements can reach him. Jogo answers by conjuring a swarm of Ember Insects through his innate technique. Gojo halts every one of them, but they burst moments later, and a follow-up explosion seems to catch him off guard, leaving the curse to gloat about the frailty of humans.

The smoke clears to reveal Gojo untouched. He explains that no attack will ever land, because Jogo can only ever brush against the Infinity stretched between them. Sensing the curse's confusion, he invites Jogo to try shaking hands and lets him discover that his reach stops short of contact. Gojo then clasps the hand and rains rapid thrusts from his free arm, pummeling a Jogo who cannot grasp how a simple cursed-energy strike does so much.

Key Events

Gojo describes drawing infinity into reality through the space made by convergence and divergence, then channels it into Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, blasting Jogo into the forest. The curse forces his eyes open to counterattack, but Gojo reappears behind him and kicks him down into a shallow lake. Vanishing for a beat, Gojo returns with Yuji in tow. Rattled, Yuji blurts that the spirit's head looks like Mt. Fuji, and Gojo cheerfully announces his student will be observing today's lesson firsthand.
