Pandora

Character

Pandora is a living sun homie brought to life by Mother Carmel, who fed part of her own soul into a blaze on Elbaph using the Soru Soru no Mi. The creature predates Big Mom's later sun homie Prometheus and shares much of his fiery design.

Appearance

Pandora exists as a tight knot of burning flame shaped into a tiny living sun, roughly as large as Carmel's head, though the size can swell or shrink. The form closely mirrors the later Prometheus, with the chief difference being a set of what look like eyelashes ringing its face.

Personality

Very little has been shown of how Pandora thinks. What is clear is its devotion to Carmel, the homie trailing her everywhere she travels and even lighting her cigarettes for her.

Abilities

Being a sun homie, Pandora can hover and fly under its own power while giving off heat and flame, handy for tasks as small as sparking a cigarette. Because it was forged from a fragment of its maker's own soul rather than a stranger's, it is reckoned to be far more potent than ordinary homies built from other people's spirits. Pandora came into being sixty-one years before the start of the series, when Carmel poured part of her soul into a huge fire on Elbaph. Onlookers mistook the event for the appearance of the Sun God and hailed it as a miracle. The homie went on to accompany Carmel, including a meeting she held with Cipher Pol. Its fate after Carmel's disappearance is unknown. Pandora holds the distinction of being the only known homie not made by Big Mom, though the fire it sprang from was one she had started during her rampage on Elbaph.
