Beast

Given as Bīsuto in Japanese, this close-range Transformation Quirk belongs to Jurota Shishida. It debuts in Chapter 195 and appears in Episode 91.

Activation swaps his ordinary shape for something enormous and monstrous. Already hairy to begin with, he swells outward until the animal takes over completely, thick fur across every inch and fangs to match.

Strength and speed both climb steeply. A single sweep of his claws throws opponents into the distance, and he can manage that while another person rides on his back. Durability comes along too, to the point that jolts of Electrification barely register on him.

His senses sharpen across the board in this state, smell most of all. The range and precision it gains make him a scout as much as a bruiser, able to read enemy positions and movement from well away.

Two weaknesses balance it. The transformation floods him with enthusiasm, and reckless choices follow from that high. His nose can also be fooled, since covering one's natural scent with something else defeats the tracking.

Jurota is the only known holder, and the Quirk makes him brutally hard to put down in a straight fight. He drops onto four legs and mauls what he catches, and the bulk that makes him dangerous also makes him easy to hit. His answer is to flicker back to his smaller human shape for a moment, slip the attack, and come back out. Crucially, his intelligence survives the euphoria well enough that he keeps strategizing mid-fight.

Two Ultimate Moves formalize that rhythm. Roaring Rage has him transform, leap, and send a target flying with a claw swipe. Re-Beast is the counterpunch: revert briefly to dodge, then fire the Quirk straight back up.

The character reads as a nod to Beast of the X-Men comics, another animalistic monster of a hero who is in truth a well-educated intellectual. The Quirk overlaps with Chimera as well, though Chimera draws on several animals at once and so offers a broader spread of abilities. Daigo's unnamed Quirk in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes resembles it too.
