Throw it and it finds you. Boomerang lets Itejiro Toteki steer whatever leaves his hand, bending a projectile's flight path mid-air so it chases down a target instead of sailing past. A purple glow marks the objects currently under his command.
Boomerang, written in Japanese as Būmeran, belongs to Itejiro Toteki of Ketsubutsu Academy. It sits in the Emitter category and reaches long range, which makes it one of the few thrown-weapon powers with genuine reach in the series.
Readers met it in Chapter 104, and it reached the anime in Episode 54. The wiki files it under Ketsubutsu Students Quirks.
The power appears to give its owner authority over the flight path of anything he throws. Rather than travelling in a straight line, a projectile under this influence can curve and hunt down whatever it was aimed at.
There is a visible tell. Whenever Itejiro engages the ability, both his hands and every object he has claimed take on a purple shine.
Guided objects are not invincible, even hardened ones with the density of concrete. Anything thick and viscous will foul a projectile's course, and Mina Ashido's Acid proved perfectly capable of knocking one off its line.
His named Ultimate Move is Trajectory: Crescent Moon, in which hardened projectiles are hurled beneath the ground and curve toward the target from below, keeping their approach out of sight the whole way.
Itejiro Toteki is the only person shown with Boomerang. He is a Ketsubutsu Academy student, and the Quirk gives his name a certain inevitability given that Toteki reads as a throwing reference.
Mina Ashido stands as the notable counter, since her Acid Quirk demonstrated how a viscous liquid unravels the ability's guided arcs.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Itejiro Toteki's Quirk is Boomerang, an Emitter type ability that lets him control the flight path of anything he throws so it curves back toward its target instead of missing.
Boomerang is an Emitter type Quirk with long range, letting Itejiro Toteki guide thrown projectiles from a distance.
When Itejiro Toteki activates Boomerang, both his hands and any object he has claimed take on a visible purple glow.
Itejiro Toteki's Ultimate Move is Trajectory: Crescent Moon, in which he hurls hardened projectiles underground so they curve up toward the target from below, hiding their approach.
Thick, viscous substances can throw a guided projectile off course, and Mina Ashido's Acid Quirk has proven capable of knocking Boomerang's projectiles off their line.
