Bubble

Bubble, given in Japanese as Baburu, belongs to Kaoruko Awata, the Pro Hero known as Bubble Girl. It sits in the Emitter category and functions at close range.

The ability arrived in Chapter 139 of the manga and in Episode 71 of the anime. The wiki files it under Pro Hero Quirks.

The user produces bubbles at whatever size suits the moment, and each one carries a scent inside it. The catch is that she has to have smelled the aroma at some earlier point; the Quirk reproduces odors from memory rather than inventing them.

Both ends of the spectrum are available to her. Pleasant, sweet-smelling bubbles are one option, and thoroughly rancid ones are another. Nerves interfere with the process: when Kaoruko gets too anxious, what she makes turns extremely foul and bursts on its own.

The limitations are real. Everything happens within close range, and there is no meaningful offense in the toolkit, since the effect stops at blinding an opponent rather than harming one.

Kaoruko Awata is the only person shown with this Quirk. Her working method leans on distraction rather than damage: a burst of bubbles temporarily robs a foe of sight, and she uses that window to close in and restrain them.
