Orcinus

Orcinus is a Mutant type Quirk carried by Kugo Sakamata, better known as the Pro Hero Gang Orca. Rather than granting one discrete trick, it hands him the complete package of an orca's biology while leaving him able to operate outside the water. The name borrows from Orcinus orca, the scientific label for the killer whale.

Size accounts for part of it, but the Quirk also loads Sakamata with strength and speed well above human norms, both of which climb further in water. Its signature output is a burst of ultrasonic sound that locks a target's body up on the spot, with enough force behind it to break apart heavy ice. Distance blunts the effect, so the waves hit hardest up close.

His marine build carries obvious liabilities. Severe heat and drying out both weaken him, though the remedy is mundane: a drink of water restores him. After rehydrating, he has torn apart a cage of swirling flame using sound alone.

Sakamata is the only known holder, and he sits among the top ranked Pro Heroes. He fights by pinning opponents with sound at any distance, treating the waves as a shield against incoming attacks as much as a weapon. His raw physicality has overwhelmed mid class Nomu and elite U.A. students on land, and he blocked Izuku Midoriya's Shoot Style kick without difficulty. Grabbing someone with brute strength and then paralyzing them at leisure is a favored finish.
