Rabbit

Character

Rumi Usagiyama fights like the animal her Quirk is named for. Rabbit hands her a hare's anatomy in full, from the ears and tail down to legs that turn a casual stomp into a gust strong enough to scatter fire, along with the sharpened senses and instinctive alarm that keep prey animals breathing.

Mechanics

The Quirk rebuilds its holder around rabbit biology and everything that comes with it. Rumi gains long ears, a fluffy tail, and thick powerful legs, all functional rather than decorative, in much the same way Frog equips Tsuyu Asui with amphibian traits. Her hearing and sense of smell run well past human limits, sharp enough for her to place a distant fight precisely, and a prey animal's instinct warns her the moment danger closes in.

Everything offensive flows out of her legs. She travels by bounding and attacks by kicking or stomping, and one strike into the ground throws off wind pressure violent enough to blow out fire.

Notable Users

Mirko is the only known holder, and she has built a catalog of Ultimate Moves around the power, each named for the moon in a likely nod to Asian folklore about the Moon Rabbit. Luna Ring sends her cartwheeling through the air with legs extended to catch several enemies at once, while Luna Fall drops an overhead kick that plants a target in the ground beneath her. Luna Arc is a front-facing axe kick and Luna Rush a charging barrage of kicks. Luna Tijeras is the grisly one: she clamps her legs around an opponent's head, twists her whole body, and tears it free before smashing it down.
