Twelve known bearers make Super Regeneration the most widely distributed Quirk in the series, a manufactured healing factor that stitches severed limbs back on in seconds. Doctor Kyudai Garaki bred it into his Nomu ranks and eventually into Tomura Shigaraki, chasing a body that could carry All For One.
Catalogued as a Transformation Quirk, Super Regeneration also travels under the names Hyper-Regeneration and simply Regeneration. It arrived in Chapter 19 and Episode 12, and it carries no range value at all, because it acts purely on the body wearing it.
Rather than arising naturally, this healing factor was engineered in a laboratory. Doctor Kyudai Garaki built it, then copied it across his Nomu stock to make each one harder to put down, all in service of one long project: assembling a vessel sturdy enough to hold All For One. Heroes treat it as both rare and genuinely dangerous, since a bearer who cannot be worn down sits very close to unkillable.
Its roster is unusually crowded. Number 6 carries it. So does the Multi-Armed Bomber, along with Upper-Tier Nomu, the High-Ends, several of the Near High-Ends, and Tomura Shigaraki himself.
Wounds close at speeds no ordinary body approaches. Severed arms and legs grow back, and lethal trauma seals over while a fight is still in progress. The engine driving all of it is brain activity, which makes the head the single point every Hero eventually learns to attack.
The limits are specific. Anything cauterized before the Quirk ever arrives stays ruined, which is why All For One could never have used it to undo the wreckage All Might left him and leaned instead on a breathing mask and hospital equipment to stay alive. Injuries to the spirit lie outside its reach as well, and it cannot mend Quirk Factors: when New Order tore through All For One inside Tomura, the healing rebuilt his flesh but left the ruined Quirks to knit back naturally and painfully, stretching the timeline on his perfect body from a single day out to a week or more.
Brute force also works, provided it arrives fast enough. Endeavor cooked both the Eyeless Hosu Nomu and Hood with Hellflame before either could answer, Tomura crumbled the High-Ends with Decay, and Number 6 ended himself by detonation. Knocking a bearer unconscious shuts the process down, and killing them without physically wounding them sidesteps it entirely, which is what Star and Stripe attempted when she ordered Tomura's heart to stop. A body that has not been properly prepared also heals sluggishly. With Kyudai's procedure only three quarters finished, Tomura's chest split open mid-battle and stayed open, and relentless pressure from the Heroes outran his recovery until All For One's vestige seized the controls to flee, after which he needed hours of rest. Enough accumulated damage, outside and inside both, can stall the Quirk completely.
The Multi-Armed Bomber pairs it with Self-Detonation, blowing its own arms apart and regrowing them for another volley, a loop it ran at the Sky Egg Bombing, where a flurry of as many as six explosive strikes nearly knocked Captain Celebrity out cold. Number 6 runs the same trick with Bombify and accelerates the recovery using Overclock, shrugging off gunfire, burns and holes punched through him by The Crawler so long as his brain stays whole.
Built to go toe to toe with All Might, the U.S.J. Nomu paired Shock Absorption with this healing, and it simply grew fresh limbs after Shoto Todoroki's ice knocked them off. All Might still won, which Katsuki Bakugo attributed to punches landing faster than the body could answer. Hood proved the most stubborn Nomu of all, healing through a Jet Burn delivered at point-blank range, a shredding by Hell Spider, and even Prominence Burn by beheading himself and sprouting a replacement body, until Endeavor destroyed the head outright with PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn. The High-Ends of the Paranormal Liberation War fought on through amputations from Mirko and a pierced arm from X-Less; Mirko worked out that crushing the skull finished them, and Tomura's Decay wiped out the rest at Jaku General Hospital.
Tomura demonstrates the deadliest version. Burns from Hell's Curtain, hands blasted off by Lady Nagant and by Izuku Midoriya, laser fire from X-66 jets, a missile strike and an aircraft exploding beside him all failed to stick. New Order destroyed his copy after the Star and Stripe fight, so he took a fresh one from a Near High-End. What finally undid him was a scar Star had left on his soul, untouchable by any healing, which Izuku and the vestiges pried open by forcing One For All into him.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Super Regeneration is carried by at least twelve known characters in My Hero Academia, most notably Tomura Shigaraki, along with Number 6, Hood, and various Nomu created by Doctor Kyudai Garaki.
Super Regeneration cannot heal injuries that were already cauterized before the Quirk existed, so All For One could never have used it to undo the damage All Might inflicted on him, relying instead on a breathing mask and hospital equipment.
Super Regeneration is a transformation type Quirk engineered by Doctor Kyudai Garaki that heals wounds, including severed limbs, at extraordinary speed, driven entirely by the bearer's brain activity.
No, Izuku Midoriya is not among the known users of Super Regeneration; the Quirk belongs to figures like Tomura Shigaraki, Number 6, and Doctor Garaki's engineered Nomu.
Super Regeneration cannot fix injuries cauterized before it took effect, damage to the spirit, or destroyed Quirk Factors, and it shuts down if the user is knocked unconscious or if the head is destroyed outright.
