Twin Impact

Twin Impact belongs to Class 1-B's Nirengeki Shoda. It is an Emitter Quirk whose range is described as contact or target-based, since the effect must be seeded by a physical hit before it can be spent. The ability debuts in Chapter 210 and Episode 98, during the Joint Training Battle.

The Quirk marks the spot where an initial impact occurs. From then on, Shoda holds a second strike in reserve at that location and can trigger it remotely, at whatever moment suits him. Timing is entirely his call, which makes the delay a weapon in its own right.

The follow-up is not a repeat of the original. It hits with several times the force of the opening blow, so even a light tap becomes the setup for something punishing. Both objects and people can carry the mark, a nuance Izuku Midoriya discovered when the deferred half of Neito Monoma's Copy-driven swipe caught up with him later in the match.

Nirengeki Shoda is the sole holder. His showcase comes in the Joint Training Battle against Class 1-A, where the Quirk lets a physically unremarkable student threaten far stronger opponents through patience and placement rather than power.
