Kesagiri Man

The costume is the entire silhouette: a full body suit sheathed in black fur that leaves only his fingers bare. He stands 175 centimeters, and parts of the design were lifted from older artwork by Kohei Horikoshi.

Reserved and level, he keeps his contributions short. When Tsuyu Asui and Ochaco Uraraka talk through how hard the work is outside a classroom, he offers them reassurance rather than advice. The voice that comes out of the fur is deep, and he uses it to tell restrained yakuza to stop struggling. Fried chicken is his favorite meal, a preference he shares with Present Mic.

He sits in on the strategy meeting at Sir Nighteye's office, asking what set the investigation into the yakuza in motion and learning from Bubble Girl about the trouble with Team Reservoir Dogs. When Centipeder connects the Shie Hassaikai to the League of Villains, he wants to know where Naomasa Tsukauchi has gone, and Fat Gum's news about a drug capable of erasing Quirks visibly rattles him. Going over the crime figures, he agrees the spike lines up with the Eight Bullets but presses on whether the link is anything more than coincidence. Nighteye sends everyone out to work their own districts, then calls them back days later with the location of the base.

The next morning heroes, interns, and police assemble outside with maps and a rundown of what the yakuza can do. An Eight Bullets member attacks before anyone gets in, and while Ryukyu's group stays to handle him the rest push forward. In the courtyard a yakuza turns a tree's leaves into projectiles. Kesagiri Man is across the ground and through the man before the volley arrives, swatting the leaves down along the way. Once inside, he peels off with several others to hold the lower floors. He later joins the hospital raid at Jaku during the Paranormal Liberation War and takes part in Operation Troy during the Final War.
