Wavy light-gold hair falls to Kyotoku's shoulders, and the triangular eyes underneath it are the pair he passed down to his daughter.
Personality
The stern front he threw up for Shota Aizawa and All Might was exactly that, a front. Kyotoku runs emotional and easygoing underneath, and together with Mika he backed Kyoka's ambition without hesitation, pushing her toward the hero career she wanted. Rock is his music as much as hers, and composing is his trade.

History
Mika's musical gift is what he fell for, and the marriage that followed produced Kyoka. He took the Jiro name from her family rather than the other way around. The household's love of music passed straight through to their daughter, who was playing instruments young. Assuming her parents wanted a musician out of her, Kyoka apologized when she confessed she meant to become a hero instead. Neither of them would accept the apology, and both told her to chase it.
His one real scene came when Shota Aizawa and All Might turned up to request that Kyoka be allowed to live at U.A. High School. Kyotoku squared up to the pair, only for Kyoka to walk in and reveal that her parents had settled the question in advance, which sent father and daughter straight into bickering over the concerned-parent act she had just ruined. As a composer, his expertise lies in music theory.
