His dark brown hair fell to a medium-long length. The costume around it leaned entirely on stereotyped depictions of Native Americans: headgear finished with a feather, a feathered cape, open-toed sandals, and a jumpsuit marked with the letter N.

Whatever it was that made Stain file him among the false heroes goes unexplained. What the pages do show is a short fuse, since irritation came to him quickly.

Selflessness sat underneath it. Pinned and helpless while teenagers fought to keep him alive, his concern was that they would die doing it, and he begged them to run rather than keep swinging at the Hero Killer. He was grateful afterward too, thanking Tenya and his friends with theme park tickets.

Stain cornered him in a back alley and locked him in place with Bloodcurdle. Native cursed him as the sword came up, and Tenya Ida's arrival was the only reason the blow never landed. Stain put Tenya down during their fight and scolded him for caring more about revenge than about the man he had come across, then turned to kill him, at which point Izuku Midoriya intervened. Izuku alone was not enough, and once Stain had immobilized everyone, Shoto Todoroki broke it up and moved Native, Tenya, and Izuku somewhere safer. Native was the first paralyzed and still the last to recover, which gave Shoto the clue he needed: he asked everyone their blood type and worked out that the paralysis lasts according to it.

When Tenya got up and went back at Stain, Native pleaded with the students to leave, since the Hero Killer only wanted the two heroes, and Shoto refused on the grounds that Stain was giving them no opening to escape through. The three of them brought Stain down together and left the area, with Native carrying Izuku and apologizing for being useless, and Izuku telling him nobody survives Stain one on one. Endeavor's sidekicks and Gran Torino joined them, and one of the Hosu Nomu snatched Izuku out of the group and flew off, only for Stain, hands bound, to lick the creature's blood, free himself, and kill it with a knife hidden under his wristband. He then set off toward Endeavor, his aura freezing everyone present, and stopped only when a broken rib punctured his own lung.

Years later Native joined the hospital raid team under Endeavor at Jaku. He fought the High-End Nomu, was flown clear by Ryukyu after Tomura Shigaraki woke and unleashed Decay across the district, and stood with the heroes who threw themselves between Tomura Shigaraki and Eraser Head, desperate to keep the man alive. A Near High-End caught him afterward, overpowered him, and bit off his arm. His name appeared on the list of casualties released once the war ended.
