Omori Furiko

Omori's hair is short and almost blocky, naturally quite messy, though he pushes it back and keeps it neat when he wants to look good. Bushy eyebrows sit over large, pale eyes. For his attempted confession he had a white suit made, worn with dress trousers and a tie.

He is flamboyant enough that his first confession plan ran to a short speech plus a dance number, and his imagination outpaces him: without meaning to, he invented an entire persona for the version of Ochaco Uraraka in his head. He can also see his own faults. Once he actually met her, he recognised that he had been assigning her qualities that were never there, and he stayed respectful about it, continuing to back her career while admitting the person he had loved did not exist.

A car stuck on the tracks delayed Omori's train on the way to school. While he panicked about the clock, heroes arrived to shift it, Uravity among them, and he fell for her on the spot. Research at home turned up that she was still in training, a student at U.A.

Months later he worked up the courage to go to U.A. and say so, in a suit tailored for the occasion, only to collapse outside the school from lovesickness. Minoru Mineta, Yuga Aoyama, Fumikage Tokoyami, Eijiro Kirishima and Tenya Ida found him there. Recovery Girl diagnosed him, and when he woke and explained his goal the boys offered advice, which escalated into Eijiro demanding a duel to test the feeling. The bout ran long and wrecked the suit, but Omori was upright at the end of it, which passed the challenge.

Ochaco returned to campus just as they finished. He ran to confess, surprising the boys, who had not known who the target was, and exhaustion made him falter; a desperate leap toward her read as a villain's attack, and she caught him out of the air and put him through the ground. In that moment he understood that he had fallen for an idea, an angel gentle and without violence who had never existed, however much he respected the fighter in front of him. He dusted himself off, described the moment he first saw her, and said he backed the career she was building. His Quirk, unnamed, adds weight to whatever he lays a hand on, and his name reads roughly as pendulum weight.
