Romero Fujimi

Romero is drawn as a walking corpse. Bug-wide eyes sit above a nose often reduced to two dots, no eyebrows break the space above them, his teeth are conspicuously straight, and desaturated bluish-gray hair spikes messily across the right half of his face. He slouches, and nothing about him looks tended to. His school clothes are the standard Isami High set: white dress shirt, red tie, dark blue blazer, plain gray slacks, dark brown loafers.

The hero costume seems to pull him upright. A black double-breasted coat falls past the knees, its collar standing high and its gray cuffs thick, wired with nozzles running around his waist and ankles and down his arms. A purple-tinted translucent mask covers his mouth as a barrier against his own Quirk, finished with gloves and pointed dress shoes below pinstriped pants.

Romero talks down to Class 1-A and tells his Isami classmates to keep their distance from them, which puts him at odds with Katsuki Bakugo almost instantly. The comparison is apt, since like Katsuki he is blunt, unkind, arrogant, and careless with his own power. He proved it by releasing the Zombie Virus among his own classmates, untroubled by what it might do to them, then boasting that U.A. was overrated once nearly the whole class had fallen, which dropped his guard long enough for a zombified Katsuki to bite him. His classmate Dadan Tadan insists there is no real malice in him, and he idolizes All Might like most students.

The Zombie Virus is his entire arsenal. It vents pink gas from his body, and inhaling it reduces a person to a zombie in both look and mind while granting them zombie-like strength and endurance, with their Quirks firing off at random. Traces of who they were survive, so Katsuki's aggression and Koji Koda's quietness both persist. The infection also spreads by bite, converting a new victim on contact.

He shares Mustard's central weakness in that his own gas works on him just as well as anyone else, which is why a mask shields his mouth and nose. The protection only covers his lungs, and a bite from any victim zombifies him all the same, which is exactly how he was taken out.
