Her hair is a light blue, falling to about the shoulder and swept over to the right, above darker blue eyes that slope inward and read as sharp.

Naval dress shapes her hero costume: a sleeveless white sailor top with a double-trimmed collar in dark blue, a three-piece skirt buttoned at each hip, a red scarf tied loose, blue gloves over white striped wrist guards, and thigh-high boots patterned with wavy lines from top to toe. A flat hat with a ribbon around its base sits on her head, and covering her ears are two oversized communication devices shaped like blue fins, built to serve her Quirk.

Friendly by default, she took real interest in impressing on Tsuyu Asui what becoming a hero means. Her captain has her complete respect, though his repeated attempts at looking cute embarrass her constantly. She is also entirely willing to spend herself: she would rather Innsmouth had killed her than let him get away.

Good Ear extends her hearing to high frequencies and sounds too quiet for anyone else, which lets her stay in contact with Selkie across long distances. She can also read Morse code, having received and decoded messages Selkie sent using his Spotted Seal Quirk.

Her fin-shaped earpieces are permanent equipment, working with the Quirk to keep her teammates connected and extending Good Ear's effective range. For the occasions when she has to fight, she keeps a retractable steel baton concealed in her clothing so the first swing comes as a surprise.
