All Might's mother occupies only a handful of panels, but they go a long way toward explaining him. Toshie Yagi read superhero books aloud to a Quirkless little boy who wanted to be one, and the civil unrest All For One stoked took her life. Orphaned by it, Toshinori later found a home with Nana Shimura.
Golden blonde hair fell to Toshie's waist, usually gathered back with a scrunchie, and two distinct tufts parted to either side of her head in a way her son inherited. She was tall.
Her eyes were where the resemblance stopped. Gray, round, and soft rather than sharp, they sat beneath eyebrows noticeably thinner than Toshinori's.
Kind and easy-going, Toshie was close to her son. Whenever Toshinori asked for a story she was glad to oblige, returning again and again to the one he loved best, a book about superheroes.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Much of Toshinori's childhood was spent beside his mother with a book open between them, superhero stories most of all, and the fact that the boy had no Quirk never changed how readily she read them to him.
She was killed later, during the wave of civil unrest that All For One's influence set loose. The loss marked Toshinori deeply. With his whole family gone he was left alone, until Nana Shimura offered him a home and became the mother figure who set him on the road to becoming the greatest hero of his age.
Toshie Yagi, Toshinori's mother, was killed during a wave of civil unrest stirred up by All For One's influence, leaving Toshinori orphaned.
Toshie Yagi is the mother of Toshinori Yagi, the Pro Hero known as All Might. She appears only in flashbacks but is remembered for reading her Quirkless son superhero stories.
Toshie Yagi had waist-length golden blonde hair usually gathered with a scrunchie, with two tufts parting to either side of her head, a feature her son Toshinori inherited, and soft gray eyes.
Toshie Yagi never let her son Toshinori's lack of a Quirk change her affection for him. She happily read him superhero stories, returning again and again to his favorite one.
After Toshie Yagi's death left Toshinori orphaned, Nana Shimura took him in and became the mother figure who set him on the path to becoming All Might.
