Appearance

Three live snakes rise out of her hair, a Japanese rat snake alongside a rattlesnake and a yellow king cobra, and that is the detail nobody misses. Her eyes are gold with pupils slit vertically, and her blonde hair falls in curled locks at the front while the back is folded up and pressed beneath a curved plate, all on a full figure.

Her costume is a maroon dress, textured like scales in the manga and left plain in the anime, worn with heels to match, a choker, and gold bracelets shaped like snakes at both wrists and ankles.

Personality

Fame sits comfortably on her, though underneath it she is calm and even-tempered. Modelling appears to come first: she took on two U.A. interns largely because they would look good in a commercial she was shooting.

That does not mean she shirks the job. She has worked alongside the police and other heroes pulling victims out of the wreckage after disasters.

History

In Vigilantes, Makoto Tsukauchi organized a send-off at the Tokyo Sky Egg to mark Captain Celebrity's return to the United States and invited Japan's best-known heroes, Uwabami among them. She joined a pageant alongside Ryukyu, Midnight, and Mirko while Best Jeanist worked a large cloth around them with his Quirk. Number 6 then attacked the venue with the Bombers, hunting Captain Celebrity, and the heroes split into two groups. One went outside to meet the creatures; the other, hers, helped the staff keep the audience calm and unaware to prevent a panic, assisted by Ingenium's sidekicks. Their work plus All Might's timely arrival averted a tragedy.

Her main-series debut comes when Itsuka Kendo and Momo Yaoyorozu pick her agency for their internships. She explained that heroes are permitted side jobs whatever the controversy, asked them to stick around for a commercial shoot, and, questioned on why she had picked them, granted that she had seen heroic potential but added that she liked them being cute young ladies, which left both perplexed. They trailed her through photoshoots and interviews, appeared with her in a demo spot for UNERI Hairspray, and eventually got the patrol they had been hoping for, during which a crowd of admirers swarmed her and she told the girls a following of their own awaited if they kept working.

Following All Might's rematch with All For One she used her snakes to locate people trapped under collapsed buildings during the rescue effort. She was among the pros who answered Class 1-A's distress signal on Nabu Island in Heroes: Rising, and she was posted to the Hospital Raid Team under Endeavor for the Paranormal Liberation War.

Serpentress, her Quirk, is what grows the trio of snakes from her head, and their acute senses let her track hidden criminals as readily as disaster victims. Her charisma as a celebrity is an asset in its own right. Her design carries over from a character of the same name in Kohei Horikoshi's earlier Oumagadoki Zoo, her name means giant snake, and she draws on the Medusa myth.
