Final Performance

Mr. Compress thinks back half a year, to the days before the Meta Liberation Army, when nobody in the League bothered asking about anyone's past. They had raided the Creature Rejection Clan's church looking for anything sellable, and when the bigots swarmed them the League wiped the congregation out. The haul turned out to be costume jewelry. Back at a squat with no money, Spinner finally demanded to know what they were actually for, explaining that Stain on a television screen had shown him how shallow the world he grew up mocked by really was.

In the present, Compress tells Spinner he loved that group and to keep Tomura moving, then blows out his own flesh to slip his arm free, compresses Tomura and Spinner, and climbs the giant. Best Jeanist grabs at his clothing; he pops off more of himself and the clothes with it, scoops up a wailing Skeptic, and remembers Oji Harima, the thief who robbed false heroes and fed the streets, and the family line that told him righteous blood ran in his veins. Dabi drops Shoto with a Jet Burn and rejoins him. Unmasking, Compress claims descent from Harima four generations down and readies his last trick.

Master Driller dies covering Burnin against a Near High-End. Deku wakes to a voice telling him to move, then to a spike of pain he identifies from All Might's notes as Danger Sense, the fourth user's Quirk, arriving unprepared and flooding his senses.

Lemillion strikes Compress down, but the plan was already spent: knowing the Nomu answer to Tomura, Compress handed Spinner the job of waking him. Recalling Garaki's remarks about the family hands, Spinner presses the last charred one to Tomura's face. Radio Waves erupt, scattering heroes and calling every Nomu home. It is not Tomura who speaks. All For One, in command, calls the boy's hatred power, orders a retreat, and tells Spinner that the losses are Tomura's to bear for his sake. Deku forces one last Froppy Style leap and is swatted away with a promise of a rematch. Watching the Nomu carry them off, he keeps returning to the face he saw in the vestige world, the face of someone who needed saving.

A flashback covers the League's slaughter of the Creature Rejection Clan and Spinner's first demand to know the group's purpose. Mr. Compress reveals his descent from the Peerless Thief, Oji Harima, and mutilates himself to free Tomura, Spinner, Dabi and Skeptic before Lemillion takes him down.

Deku manifests Danger Sense, the fourth user's Quirk. Spinner revives Tomura with the last of the severed hands, triggering Radio Waves that recall the Near High-End Nomu. All For One assumes control of the body and escapes with Spinner, abandoning both Gigantomachia and Mr. Compress to the heroes. Pro Hero Master Driller is killed.

The episode pulls from the opening of chapter 220 alongside the back half of 294 and all of 295, airing 24 December 2022 in Japan and 14 January 2023 in English.

The Creature Rejection Clan encounter and the conversation after it, skipped in season five, are restored here as flashback. Oji Harima gets a fuller introduction, including a young Compress being told about the family legacy, and Master Driller's death is an anime original. The takeover is restaged: Spinner's exchange with All For One happens on the giant before the Nomu arrive, Lemillion, Shoto and Ida are shown trying and failing to stop him, Best Jeanist and Nejire attempt to hold the Nomu off, and a Rivet Stab is added to Deku's final attempt. A shortened Might⁺U, first heard in Heroes: Rising, plays during the episode.
