The Strafe Panzer (ストレイフパンツァー, Sutoreifu Pantsā) is a weapon carried by Katsuki Bakugo, listed formally as the Suppressive Heavy Mobile Unit: Strafe Panzer. It debuts in Chapter 358 and Episode 148. Read as German, the name comes out roughly as Penalty Tanks.
Function
Several machine guns sit retracted inside the rear of his hero costume until deployment swings them out and mounts them across both shoulders. They feed on the nitroglycerin-like sweat his body secretes, which is the same fuel his Grenadier Bracers draw from.
Their purpose is Howitzer Impact: Cluster, the Ultimate Move the rig makes possible. Silhouetted against Katsuki when first deployed, the weapon draws an obvious comparison to the armored suit Marvel Comics gives War Machine, and it borrows something from the Predators' Plasmacaster as well.
Notable Users
Katsuki Bakugo is the sole wielder. The rig does not survive its own headline attack: Tomura Shigaraki destroys it after it absorbs the bulk of the damage returned by Howitzer Impact: Cluster, and it is finished off entirely once Tomura pierces Katsuki's chest, in Chapter 362 and Episode 149.
