Chapter 155

In a sealed room, Chronostasis informs the blindfolded Eraser Head that his captors know all about him, since Erasure served as a useful reference throughout their research into Eri. Shota lives because a Quirk-erasing power has value to a man drawn to exactly that, and struggling is pointless: the hour hand has already gone into him, and he will move slower than a snail for the next sixty minutes. Hari removes his mask, exposing the clock-needle hair he can extend and stab with. He offers a second piece of truth, that Eri is no daughter of Overhaul's but is connected to the man who leads the Shie Hassaikai, and that Overhaul will spend anything and anyone to get where he is going.

Above, Deku rushes in at twenty percent. Two rock columns miss, the third does not. He cracks the floor to make the ground harder to disassemble, and Overhaul switches to smaller pillars. Knowing that any damage he inflicts can simply be repaired, Izuku decides to end it with one knockout blow to the head, somersaults, and drops a Manchester Smash. It misses. Overhaul mocks how readable he is and clips him with a stone column mid-escape.

Down the hallway, a battered Mirio Togata pushes himself to carry Eri clear, but his spirit is fraying and his body quits. The bleeding has stopped and he still cannot stand. He tells her to hide and wait for someone to find her.

Back at the fight, Overhaul concedes that disassembling costs him recoil. Izuku, propped up with a stone shard through his arm, is glad he broke the floor and reads desperation in his opponent. Overhaul grants that a person who will not quit is worth respecting. Then a mouth opens on his hand and asks the girl whether she wanted any of this. In the corridor Eri stops walking, remembering being taken apart and put back together. She runs back and answers that she never wanted it. Izuku shouts at her to stay with Mirio. Using Shin's Quirk, Overhaul asks whether she thinks the boy can win alone, and she answers honestly that he cannot, then that the only fix is to go back and have everything restored.

Overhaul agrees that one person suffering is easier on everyone, tells Izuku that his faith in Mirio bought nothing, and calls the rescue itself a cruelty inflicted on Eri, which makes him unwanted here. Half conscious, Sir Nighteye has not stopped believing One For All belonged with Mirio, and he still sees the future where Eri stays lost, Overhaul walks free, and both he and Izuku die. Izuku stands up anyway and shouts that the girl was crying, that it is nobody's business but his own, that nobody will die, and that he will save her. Then the ceiling comes down and Ryukyu, Uravity and Froppy fall through it.

Chronostasis holds Eraser Head captive, unmasks, and explains that his hair needles slow whoever they strike.

Chronostasis reveals Eri is tied by blood to the yakuza group's leader rather than being Overhaul's daughter.

Izuku fights Overhaul at twenty percent of One For All and attempts Manchester Smash, which is dodged.

Mirio collapses in the hallway, and Overhaul uses Shin Nemoto's Confession to make Eri say she must return to him.

Izuku refuses to give her up, and the Ryukyu squad crashes into the battlefield.

Chapter 155 of My Hero Academia carries the title Saviors, the Saved and a Hero's Place. Kohei Horikoshi published it October 7, 2017 in issue 45 of that year; it runs 19 pages and appears in Volume 17 in the Shie Hassaikai arc.

Chronostasis and Eraser Head share the cover. Everything takes place in the Shie Hassaikai Compound, and the Quirks in play are Zero Gravity, Frog, Dragon, Overhaul, One For All and Chronostasis, with Shoot Style: Manchester Smash as the super move.
