Chapter 156 of My Hero Academia finally names the power everyone has been fighting over. Ryukyu's squad drops through the ceiling by design, the League moves in for the prize, and Eri's Rewind fires for the first time because the people around her would not let her go.
While Sir Nighteye's group was breaking into the compound, Ryukyu's team was busy with Rikiya Katsukame, an Eight Bullets member able to drain vitality by touch and by breathing it in, growing bigger as he feeds. They wore him down and put him under. Ryukyu leaves the police to restrain him and readies Nejire Chan, Uravity and Froppy to follow the others, only for Ochaco, Tsuyu and the officers to sag as their strength drains away. Rikiya is awake, and the drug he swallowed has widened his Quirk so far that breathing is enough to feed on people now.
Bigger and stronger, he swings at the police until Ryukyu pulls them clear. Twenty minutes of stalemate follow. Nejire finally commits, converting her own vitality into shockwaves, and he blocks. As the drug fades he demands she let him touch her, which she refuses outright. Then Deku turns up, announces he brought reinforcements, and points out the objective under a nearby crossroad. That is all Ryukyu needs. She takes dragon form, drags Rikiya to the crossroad, has Ochaco cancel their weight and Tsuyu tow them into place with her tongue, then orders Nejire to blast both bodies straight down with everything she has. Ochaco drops the effect as the shockwave lands, and the combined mass caves in the roadway, dumping the whole group into the underground where Izuku and Overhaul are fighting.
The arrival baffles Izuku, and Ochaco and Tsuyu realize the Izuku they met upstairs was an impostor. Himiko Toga, Twice and a duplicate of Mr. Compress had let the clone loose below, dug an exit with copies, and sent Himiko up wearing Izuku's face. Twice is delighted the heroes came, because their raid identified the core of the operation, and that core is Eri. He orders the Compress clone to take her.
The grab startles Ryukyu's team. Izuku leaves Sir Nighteye with Ochaco and goes for the girl, but a rock pillar cuts him off and Overhaul seizes her first. Fed up and eyeing the hole above as an exit, Overhaul builds a long pillar toward the surface. Izuku gives chase. On the way, Mirio's cape snags on debris, which Overhaul finds disgusting, and Eri grabs it on instinct as the boy's words come back to her.
Energy pours off her. Her grandfather founded and led the Shie Hassaikai, and his own daughter severed ties after a fight over her marriage, and because Eri's touch made her father vanish into nothing. The boss described a Quirk resembling nothing in the bloodline, likely a mutation, and admitted he understood almost nothing about it, which is why he handed her to the man whose own Quirk looked closest. Research led Overhaul to conclude that hers operates on another tier entirely, rewinding genetics rather than repairing, and the idea terrified him. His hypothesis proves out: the power activates, and the fusion between him and Shin Nemoto comes apart, both men restored. Today was Eri's first attempt at escape after years of experiments, freedom taken, and the conviction that being born cursed meant accepting it. Mirio's words cracked that open. She could not stand watching people bleed for her, and she was stunned that nobody would abandon her, and out of that grew a feeling she had never allowed herself: the wish to be saved. That is what fired the Quirk. Izuku catches Mirio's cape, the same cape she is holding.
Rikiya Katsukame revives with Trigger enhancing his Quirk, and Ryukyu's squad defeats him by collapsing the crossroad into the compound's underground.
Himiko Toga is revealed to have impersonated Izuku to lure the squad, part of a League of Villains plan to seize Eri.
Eri's Quirk is named as Rewind, and her blood tie to the yakuza group's founding leader comes to light.
Eri's power activates and separates Overhaul from Shin Nemoto.
Eri grabs Mirio's cape, and Izuku takes hold of the other end.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Chapter 156, titled The Power of Those Saved, reveals Eri's Quirk as Rewind and shows Ryukyu's team defeating Rikiya Katsukame before dropping into the underground fight. Eri's power activates for the first time, separating Overhaul from Shin Nemoto after she grabs Mirio's cape following Izuku.
Ryukyu's team combines their Quirks to beat Rikiya Katsukame. Ryukyu takes dragon form and drags him to a crossroad, Ochaco Uraraka cancels their weight, Tsuyu Asui tows them into place, and Nejire Hado blasts both of them straight down, collapsing the road into the compound's underground level.
Himiko Toga impersonated Izuku Midoriya in Chapter 156, wearing his face as part of a League of Villains plan involving Twice and a clone made by Mr. Compress, meant to lure the heroes away from Eri's location.
In Chapter 156, Eri's Quirk is named Rewind, a power that reverses the genetics of a living target rather than simply repairing damage, a scope so extreme that even Overhaul had feared it while exploiting it.
Eri's Rewind activates for the first time when she grabs Mirio Togata's cape and realizes that Izuku and the others refuse to abandon her, sparking a wish to be saved after years of believing she deserved her suffering. The surge separates Overhaul from his fusion with Shin Nemoto.
