Chapter 159

Underground, Chronostasis frets over how long Overhaul is taking and half fears he has lost, though he knows the man has never let anything stand in his way, not since they were boys. Deciding the finished product and the serum outweigh Eraser Head's Quirk, he draws a short blade to kill him. A thrown bill knocks it from his grip. Behind him stands a badly hurt Suneater with the unconscious Mirio on his back, one hand shaped into a swordfish that has gone through Hari's palm, and behind them the police, demanding surrender. Froppy arrives to bring Tamaki up.

Above ground, a Full Cowl - 100% punch has already ended it. Kai's stone bulk topples and the man inside is critically hurt. Izuku touches down and asks Eri if she is all right. Her Quirk chooses that moment to slip its leash.

Kai's memory drifts back to a brawl with civilians who insulted the yakuza. The boss reprimanded him for breaking the code, then thanked him for defending their honor. He forces himself awake and swings a stone hand at Izuku in one last grab for the girl. Eri's power washes over him instead and undoes the fusion with Rikiya Katsukame, leaving him ordinary and finished. Uravity puts him in custody. Ryukyu comes up carrying Tamaki, Mirio, Shota and Tsuyu, then asks for a situation report. Ochaco explains that an ambulance is on its way for the detective, that Izuku has won, and that his power is running wild, which is really Eri's Quirk tearing through him. Tsuyu lifts the wounded Shota into view, and he cancels what he takes to be Izuku's Quirk, catching Eri's instead. Both children drop unconscious. Ryukyu calls for more ambulances, a sweep for other victims, and a search for anyone from the League.

Police and heroes comb the hideout, collecting the beaten Eight Bullets and walking the wounded out to the ambulances. Izuku, outside, passes Eri to the paramedics and mentions the fever that started when she passed out. Sir Nighteye, about to be loaded in, marvels that the future came out wrong and tells Izuku he genuinely twisted it. Izuku rushes to him with word that All Might is alive and too ashamed to face him, and begs him to hold on long enough for one more meeting. Eyes closed, Sir Nighteye answers that a great many heroes were hurt to save a single girl, and though he cannot call the outcome satisfying, he thanks him. At 9:15 AM the operation to rescue Eri is logged complete.

On the highway, a heavily guarded transport carries eleven prisoners toward the villain hospital in Takodana: the Eight Bullets plus Kai, Hari and Joi Irinaka, every one of them in terrible condition. Their confiscated belongings include the Quirk-destroying bullets and an unlisted capsule nobody had reported. Then the driver sees a truck ahead with a figure standing on top. Tomura Shigaraki looks down, Dabi and Mr. Compress ride inside, and Tomura remarks that shogi comes down to taking the enemy's king. Dabi says that is easier said than done. Atsuhiro is on the phone congratulating Himiko Toga and Twice on a job well done.

Tamaki Amajiki and the police stop Chronostasis from executing Eraser Head and take him into custody.

Izuku defeats Overhaul with Full Cowl - 100%, and Eri's Quirk separates Kai from Rikiya Katsukame before spiraling out of control.

Eraser Head erases Eri's Quirk, saving both children, and Ochaco apprehends Kai.

The Shie Hassaikai raid concludes at 9:15 AM with every yakuza arrested, and Sir Nighteye acknowledges that Izuku changed the future he foresaw.

Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi and Mr. Compress ambush the escort vehicle transporting the eleven prisoners to Takodana.

It's Over!! is chapter 159 of My Hero Academia, written and drawn by Kohei Horikoshi. It was published November 12, 2017 in issue 50 of that year, runs 17 pages, and belongs to Volume 18, concluding the Shie Hassaikai raid.
