Summary

Paperwork and questioning keep Tsuyu Asui, Ochaco Uraraka, Eijiro Kirishima, and Izuku Midoriya at school well into the night, so the dorms only see them late. Class 1-A crowds around, relieved they came back whole. Tenya Ida tries to settle everyone and asks them to tread carefully around what the four have been through. Remembering how Mirio Togata carried himself, Izuku thanks Tenya for the consideration and tells him he is genuinely fine, which surprises Tenya but earns his acceptance.

Momo Yaoyorozu goes off to brew lavender herbal tea while Tsuyu asks Ochaco where her head is. Ochaco admits she felt responsible for failing to keep Sir Nighteye alive, though Shota Aizawa had told her the blame sits with the heroes, not her, and asked her to take time deciding what she wants from her future. Her answer to Tsuyu is simple: saving people is what she wants, and Tsuyu agrees. Mina Ashido puts the same question to Eijiro, who answers that plenty of road still lies ahead of him, and she accepts it.

Denki Kaminari asks Katsuki Bakugo whether he had been worried, gets ignored, and watches him leave for bed. Shoto Todoroki offers the four an apology and turns in early as well. Katsuki's indifference surprises nobody, but Shoto's exit does, until Kyoka Jiro points out that the two of them have Provisional Hero License training in the morning.

Morning brings Shoto and Katsuki before the two supervisors of the course, All Might and Present Mic. Present Mic explains that Shota is tied up with U.A. business, and when Shoto presses, adds that it concerns the rescued girl's Rewind. All Might notes that Present Mic came along as a safeguard given how the League of Villains has been moving.

A call from Gran Torino brings word that Kurogiri is in custody, which pleases All Might until the rest lands. The League will not collapse regardless, because the task force ran headlong into Gigantomachia, a servant answering straight to All For One. Gran Torino describes a walking catastrophe that leveled a large stretch of mountain, leaving him and Naomasa Tsukauchi badly hurt and the unit with severe casualties. Facing that kind of raw force, he settled for taking Kurogiri alone, and by the time they withdrew, Gigantomachia had vanished. He promises to call again with any developments.

The group buses out to the training center, where the two supervisors head for the bleachers and run straight into a seething Endeavor. He offers thanks for the care shown to Shoto, then demands a conversation with the former number one. Shoto, who had been warned by message the day before that his father was taking time off to watch, hopes the two never cross paths, and would also rather have avoided the relentlessly cheerful Inasa Yoarashi now greeting them.

Camie Utsushimi wanders past, taken with how good-looking Katsuki and Shoto are, and wonders aloud about getting their contact details. Katsuki asks the bald one whether Camie had been around before, and Inasa says she had not, lifting his cap to prove he has hair. Seiji Shishikura tells the pair to keep their distance from the inferior U.A. students, and the two schools prepare to begin.
