Summary

Endeavor closes the distance and notices that the creature's reasoning has drained away, leaving something feral in its place. He forces his hand into its mouth and burns it from the inside, yet the healing keeps pace with every wound he opens.

Calling for help again, he learns that most of Hawks' feathers are committed elsewhere and the remainder risk being burned up in the fight. He remarks on the Nomu's animal turn and asks anyway: use whatever is left to shove both of them skyward. Meanwhile Shoto follows the coverage from Heights Alliance while his brother and sister watch from their car.

Hawks obliges. With no city underneath to work around, Endeavor unleashes PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn and drives himself and High-End back toward the ground. Class 1-A watches in suspense as a pro hero tries to intercept the fall and arrives too late, so Endeavor slams into the earth. He walks out of the dust with one arm held high, the Nomu beside him burned through, and the crowd at the scene erupts.

Toshinori Yagi stares at the screen in the teachers' lounge, unable to believe it. Shoto, ringed by his classmates and his homeroom teacher, drops into a crouch in relief. Hawks props up the limping victor and observes that the pose matched All Might's; Endeavor answers that the arm was the opposite one. Thanked for the win, he dismisses his own showing as lackluster, and Hawks tells him this is where something far bigger begins for him. The conversation breaks off when Dabi steps in, says the fight ran well past what he expected, and addresses Endeavor by the name on his birth certificate, leaving both heroes at a loss.
