Knuckleduster says the word mother and gets laughter for an answer, then throws a punch he deliberately keeps harmless. Meanwhile a blackout has left a rooftop crowd restless, the Heroes are stuck on standby, and someone has to hold the stage.
Whatever Knuckleduster says about her mother leaves Kuin Hachisuka baffled. He makes his position plain: the Bee User is not who he came to speak with, he wants his daughter. Kuin answers with wild laughter. He charges with his Taser Knuckles and swings; she slips aside, only to eat a second blow from his bare fist. He explains the restraint. Landing the Taser Knuckle on a limb would put her out cold, and anything striking her chest would kill.
Kuin releases a swarm of workers. Knuckleduster drives at her as one detonates beside him. She laughs while blood runs from her left eye, describing these as Bomb Bees. The swarm closes and blows, but only the first was genuine and the rest were bluff. Cornered, Kuin drops off the roof into the streets, and Knuckleduster follows on his grappling hook.
On the department store roof, the blackout has left the audience bewildered. Eraser Head tells Midnight he ran into a villain and is sitting on the unconscious eel until police arrive. Rescue crews work on the civilians Teruo Unagisawa hurt in the street below. Shortly after, Midnight and Present Mic explain to Makoto Tsukauchi that a villain caused the outage. The crowd is growing restless.
Captain Celebrity turns up, and Makoto sends him after spare generators to get the power back. She tells Midnight and Mic that the crowd needs an MC and asks Mic to take it, apologizing that the two of them are formally on standby until the situation is settled. Going up herself is not an option, since that would leave backstage unmanaged.
Fear that the show is dead spreads through the Feathers and the president heading up the East Naruhata High Dance Squad, while Pop☆Step realizes Koichi Haimawari has slipped off somewhere. He resurfaces out of the crowd as The Crawler and hands her the microphone. Pop agrees to take the stage and keep the audience settled.
Knuckleduster confronts Kuin Hachisuka directly as his daughter rather than as the Bee User, and holds back his Taser Knuckles to avoid killing or incapacitating her.
Kuin's Bomb Bees are introduced, along with her willingness to bluff with them, and she escapes the rooftop into the streets with Knuckleduster in pursuit.
With Midnight and Eraser Head confined to standby, Present Mic is asked to MC and Captain Celebrity is sent for generators.
Koichi Haimawari returns Pop☆Step's microphone, and she takes the stage to hold the crowd together.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Twenty-one pages, collected in Volume 4 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, published February 10, 2018. The spin-off is written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and drawn by Betten Court.
It belongs to the Vs. Queen Bee arc and sits between Chapter 22 and Chapter 24. Kuin Hachisuka and Knuckleduster share the cover.
The anime divides it across two installments, with pages 1 to 13 in Episode 11 and pages 14 to 21 in Episode 12.
In Vigilantes Chapter 23, Knuckleduster confronts Kuin Hachisuka as his daughter rather than as the villainous Bee User, deliberately holding back his Taser Knuckles so he does not kill or incapacitate her before she flees into the streets. Meanwhile, Present Mic is asked to MC the blacked-out festival stage after Eraser Head and Midnight are put on standby.
Vigilantes Chapter 23 reveals that Kuin Hachisuka, the villain known as the Bee User, is Knuckleduster's daughter, which is why he confronts her personally instead of treating her as just another criminal.
In Vigilantes Chapter 23, Kuin Hachisuka uses Bomb Bees, a swarm of explosive insects, though she is also shown bluffing with fake detonations to cover her escape from Knuckleduster.
In Vigilantes Chapter 23, Present Mic is asked to take over as MC after a blackout leaves the rooftop crowd restless, since Eraser Head and Midnight are confined to standby duty.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, including Chapter 23, Daughter, is written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and drawn by Betten Court.
