Chapter 259

Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi briefs a room of heroes on Kyudai Garaki, a Quirkless man who founded Jaku General Hospital and still chairs its board. Publicly he is known for charity, having opened orphanages and nursing homes and partnered with private clinics, and he advocates loudly for Quirk-based medicine.

Rock Lock asks what justifies going after such a figure. Naomasa answers that an undercover officer on his staff trailed Garaki into a section of the hospital absent from its blueprints and came away with a photograph of the doctor standing beside a small Nomu. Making the arrest should be simple, the detective says, but caution matters, because nothing resembling Hosu or Kamino can be allowed to happen again. The plan is to sweep up every member and associate of the Paranormal Liberation Front simultaneously.

A second force waits outside the Gunga Mountain Villa, with Edgeshot, Mt. Lady, Ms. Joke, Fat Gum, and Kamui Woods among the pros and students such as Denki Kaminari, Fumikage Tokoyami, Tamaki Amajiki, Kinoko Komori, and Juzo Honenuki attached. Sensing Kinoko's nerves, Midnight assures her the students only need to help briefly before withdrawing. Denki grumbles about his front-line posting while classmates from Class 1-A, Class 1-B, and other schools wait further back.

Endeavor presses Naomasa on how the hospital was pinpointed and what "he" is up to. The detective calls the matter highly classified and claims not to follow the question, offering only that everyone is working for the country's peace. Endeavor lets it go, privately certain Hawks is behind all of it. In the surrounding city, civilians notice the streets have no heroes on them. Slidin' Go, patrolling alone and confused, is taken into custody by Death Arms over his membership in the Front.

Burnin gives the students their cue and the civilian evacuation begins, while Endeavor's squad storms the hospital, startling staff and patients with the sudden crowd of heroes. Naomasa's undercover agent asks Endeavor to follow him inside. Garaki, meanwhile, hums his way down a corridor in good spirits, pleased that everything is on schedule and that Tomura Shigaraki needs only another month. A voice calls out behind him. He turns, and his face falls as Endeavor charges toward him with other heroes in tow.

The man known as Daruma Ujiko is identified by his real name, Kyudai Garaki, chairman of Jaku General Hospital and officially recorded as Quirkless.

Endeavor reaches Garaki inside the hospital and moves to take him down.

Death Arms restrains Slidin' Go once his connection to the Paranormal Liberation Front is exposed.

The chapter continues the Paranormal Liberation War and starts both the Jaku Hospital Raid and the Gunga Mountain Villa Raid at once.

Selkie makes his manga debut here, having only been referred to back in Chapter 126. A background figure resembling Denji from Chainsaw Man can be spotted among the raid team assembled against the Front.
