Summary

Kyudai Garaki panics at the sight of the heroes and bolts, only to be tripped by Eraser Head's Capturing Weapon while Erasure holds him. Endeavor watches the man visibly age and concludes the Quirk registry has been falsified, since Garaki clearly carries something. Naomasa Tsukauchi suspects this is the answer to All For One's unnatural lifespan, and adds that the Quirks turning up in these cases, Super Regeneration among them, are far too uncommon to be coincidence, hinting they were copied or manufactured to serve All For One.

Present Mic rolls the doctor onto his back and demands to know why he turned his talents to evil. Two doctors who have been watching push in to defend their colleague and ask what he supposedly did, and Naomasa has them escorted out with another hero. Mandalay reports the hospital cleared of civilians and the teams ready for the Nomu. Mirko, moving toward the morgue, argues the place could be secured without a brawl now that the man giving the orders is in custody. Eraser Head promises Garaki they will strip away everything he has, the way his experiments stripped away so many lives, and Garaki protests his innocence right as Mirko warns Endeavor that the Nomu are moving.

Nomu burst up through the floor, and one with drill arms bores into Garaki's arm. He liquefies. The man on the ground was a copy made by Twice, and copies are beyond Erasure's reach; had the heroes known about his replication, he notes, they would have come better prepared. The real Garaki is in his laboratory, watching Tomura Shigaraki's conditioning tick along, gathering his supplies and reflecting on the years he poured into cultivating Quirks and on how perfectly this hospital suited the work of his life. Johnny is told to ready a warp for the doctor and Tomura both.

The door comes down instead. Mirko crashes in, the slab crushing Johnny beneath it, and asks whether this one is the genuine article. Garaki's face answers for him.
