Chapter 310

Rain falls on an unfamiliar town where a crowd armed with support gear corners a large woman whose mutant Quirk has convinced them she is a villain. Her pleas go nowhere until Deku intervenes, telling the attackers that fear is understandable but the woman has done nothing wrong. They disperse with a parting insult about her appearance.

She admits she was slow to evacuate because her neighborhood had stayed quiet, then lost her nerve on the way to a shelter as the injuries mounted, and she apologizes for causing trouble. Deku retrieves her umbrella, tells her the fear is universal, and promises that things will be set right. All Might arrives to walk her to safety, pressing a lunch box on Deku first.

Surveying the city afterward, Deku talks with Daigoro Banjo, who finds the chaos familiar from his own era. Deku takes stock of the problem: the League has gone dark, Tomura Shigaraki and All For One with it, along with Dabi and every Nomu, the escaped convicts offer no trail, and a Tomura wielding All For One's Quirk overwhelmed both Endeavor and Eraser Head. Unless he can draw out the full strength of One For All, he concludes, none of it stops.

Back in the vestige realm, Yoichi Shigaraki, the first user, had asked the second and third for their help and met silence, until Banjo broke the mood by teasing Izuku toward studying the Quirks of Hikage Shinomori and En, a suggestion En accepted. The third user then spoke up about surviving the bleakest stretch their country had known, an age when the enemy's grip was absolute and their leader, the second user, gathered allies to strike back. The second counted the lives he took getting there and refused to spend their strength on a boy who talks about saving their enemy, calling it delusion. Yoichi turned it around: they had meant to kill him for his blood ties and saved him instead, and without that choice the fight would never have begun, which is why working with Deku is the only road left. Pressed once more on whether the boy can finish this, Yoichi answered that the power they carry came into being precisely because a hand reached out to save him. With every user behind him, Deku heads out.

The first user's name is given as Yoichi Shigaraki.

Readers get their first clear look at the second and third holders, along with the era that shaped them.

All of the vestiges commit to backing Deku.
