Chapter 321

Endeavor reaches the edge of the battle, where Can't Stop Twinkling, Invisible Girl, and Red Riot hand over a bound Dictator. He warns that the villain may have company and sends them to help Hawks check on the hero-hating civilians scattered nearby, though Hawks would rather call in Best Jeanist and finish it quickly. Watching Deku frozen in the wall, Red Riot admits there is little he can do while the boy keeps moving, yet plenty he still wants to say, a feeling his two companions share as they rush back in. Endeavor tells Hawks to stay out of it for now.

Shoto shouts that this state is precisely what All For One wanted, an opening to strike U.A., and that the answer is a fallback plan with all of them fighting at his side. Deku, with the villain's words still echoing, refuses: the fight runs between One For All and its opposite number, All For One, and nobody else can match that pace.

He shatters the ice as Froppy's tongue lashes at him. He slips it, only to find Grape Juice had ridden along, chaining a fresh Ultimate Move, Mineta Beads: Ten-Fold, onto him. Minoru sobs that raw power was never what impressed him, it was watching a frightened boy lead everyone to victory anyway. Deku answers that the boy is gone and swats him away with Blackwhip. He readies an escape stacking Blackwhip, Fa Jin, and forty-five percent of One For All, and dodges Uravity as she drops from above mid-sentence about how his situation differs from Katsuki's abduction.

With Deku airborne, Uravity calls the play. Acidman from Pinky, paired with Flashfreeze Heatwave from Shoto, builds a ramp; Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight rockets up it, and Zero Gravity carries him higher still. Inside her head, Uravity knows their words will not land, that none of them are asking to be protected, and that his choices and his character are not on trial here. They just want to be near him.

Reaching altitude, Katsuki concedes he has plenty to say and that only one person can survive this kind of speed, then fires Ingenium at Deku with Explosive Speed: Cluster. Tenya's hand closes around Deku's. Told to let go, he refuses: Ingenium is the hero who takes a lost child's hand, and help nobody asked for is exactly what defines the real thing. As Deku finally breaks into tears, Kudo reflects that the ones who could ever lift him were always the people sharing his resolve, matching his stride, and willing to run beside him, meaning all of Class 1-A.

Class 1-A end their pursuit of Deku, with Ingenium catching his hand in midair after the class combine their Quirks to launch him skyward.

Endeavor takes custody of Dictator, and both Best Jeanist and Hawks turn out to be close at hand.

The ice ramp and the combination launch echo the Kamino Incident, where a comparable scheme from Deku gave Katsuki his route out of captivity.

Ingenium's closing line to Deku repeats what he once said to Stain while saving his friend. That earlier chapter marked the series' first anniversary, and this one commemorates its seventh, a coincidence Horikoshi's author comment thanks readers for.
