Chapter 353

Burnin passes the word over the comms that Dabi has been put down, and the reaction ripples outward. The teams still fighting in Kamino take heart from Shoto's win and press on against the one Near High-End Nomu still standing, its villain support already rounded up. They joke that no Tartarus escapee has turned up on their patch, and hope the same luck is holding elsewhere. Naomasa Tsukauchi carries the report to the Counter-Force command post, and a visibly relieved All Might pushes word of the win out to every battlefield.

At the ruins of Jaku General Hospital, Mt. Lady leads a mixed team of pros and U.A. students guarding the facility holding Gigantomachia. The Paranormal Liberation Front cannot work out how their ambush failed, and one commander concludes the heroes were never as scattered as the intelligence suggested. He readies a Feel Good Inc. item and sneers that anyone opposing liberation ends up buried, the way a certain U.A. teacher did. Pinky catches the reference to Midnight instantly, and Red Riot drops in beside her with the perimeter locked down, arguing that Shoto has set the standard and now it is their turn.

Other fronts get their moment. Sugarman and Tailman plan a proper celebration for Shoto once the fighting stops, while Cellophane broods over something unspoken. Aboard the U.A. Flying Fortress, Dynamight laughs that the outcome was never in doubt. Down in the parking lot at Troy, a leftover villain studies the field and works out that the real muscle was deployed elsewhere. That villain is Kunieda, a Tartarus escapee who claims the assassin's role now that Dictator has failed at it, and challenges Can't Stop Twinkling, currently under Fat Gum's watch, to be his mark. Yuga takes the dare without flinching.

At Central Hospital, Present Mic broadcasts word that Shoto has put Dabi down, while Tentacole pulls Anima clear of an enormous Spinner. Spinner dismisses the report as information warfare, then remembers Dabi turning down All For One's offer of extra power, an offer he himself took. Dabi had a purpose and a cause and strength; Spinner had none of it. He orders his heteromorph army forward to recover Kurogiri and tear down the existing order, for himself and for Tomura. Back in Kamino, Ingenium checks on Shoto, who apologises for wrecking his engines, and a nearby hero wonders aloud how Dabi is still breathing as a spark flickers in the villain's gut. Out where the Gunga Mountain villa once stood, Endeavor takes the news badly enough for All For One to notice. Hawks warns him to tune the villain out, but All For One is already at work, mocking Endeavor for never once looking at Toya and leaving the job to Shoto, and promising that this is exactly why he will lose, as an arsenal of Quirks comes online around him.

With Dabi beaten, the Kamino force finishes securing the villains who came with him and turns on the sole Near High-End Nomu still upright. All Might announces Shoto's victory to every battlefield. A squad under Mt. Lady defends Gigantomachia's containment at the Jaku ruins, where Pinky and Red Riot come face to face with the man who killed Midnight. Another mixed group of heroes and U.A. students holds the line at Takoba National Stadium.

Kunieda, a Tartarus escapee held back at Troy, draws Can't Stop Twinkling and his minder Fat Gum as his opposition. Over at Central Hospital, Spinner has been swollen to enormous size by a Gigantification Quirk handed to him, and he marches a heteromorph army in to reclaim Kurogiri against a defence under Present Mic. At Gunga, All For One squares off against Endeavor and Hawks and opens with psychological pressure.

Endeavor is chapter 353 of the My Hero Academia manga, written and drawn by Kohei Horikoshi. It runs sixteen pages, collects into Volume 36, and first appeared in issue 25 of 2022 on May 23. Shoto Todoroki fronts the cover, and Kunieda debuts here.

The chapter belongs to the Final War arc and was adapted as part of Episode 147. Horikoshi's author comment records that he returned a crossbow he had bought for reference and never ended up using.
