Chapter 93

Nana Shimura's voice surfaces in All Might's memory as he forces the last of One For All into the right half of his body: hold onto the reason you fight, and the ceiling moves. What he reaches for is an old wish, a world where people get to live smiling, and the memory is enough to make the power answer. Gran Torino cannot believe he is still standing, though the wreck of his frame says the well has run dry. All For One reads the same picture and calls a wounded hero the most frightening thing there is, remembering the last blow of their previous war and the expression that has followed him ever since. He readies a blast wave.

Fire cuts across the ruins and gets swatted aside without effort. Endeavor has arrived, appalled at what All Might has been reduced to, with Edgeshot and Kamui Woods beside him after clearing out the Nomu at the League of Villains hideout. All For One is genuinely startled that mass-produced stock fell that quickly, conceding he underrated the ranking system. Endeavor's shock runs deeper than tactics, since the entire shape of his life came from chasing a silhouette he eventually judged unreachable, and the man wearing it now looks like nothing at all. Edgeshot strikes at speed and All For One slips it, Kamui Woods pulls Mt. Lady, Best Jeanist and Gang Orca out of danger, and Tiger extracts a trapped civilian, telling All Might that the load is theirs to carry now and the win is his to take, because the country wants it and the shape of his body changes nothing about who he is.

Bored of sentiment, All For One clears the heroes back and floods his right arm with his heaviest Quirks until it swells into a mutated club of screws and hardened mineral. Charging in, he tells All Might exactly what he has worked out: the embers are all that remain, and Izuku Midoriya holds the rest. He adds a barb about failing as a teacher, given the boy's recklessness. The two fists meet and level a stretch of the city. Impact Recoil begins turning the damage back onto All Might, so he abandons the right arm entirely, shunting One For All across to the left and stranding the counter-Quirk with nothing to reflect. He concedes the boy does need scolding, and says plainly that he will not die before that work is finished. Then the left fist lands clean on an open guard.

The Pro Heroes reach Kamino and enter the fight, easing the pressure on All Might for the first time since the rematch began.

All For One assembles his Ultimate Quirk Combination specifically because he expects a final attack, and in doing so reveals he already knows One For All has been passed to Izuku Midoriya and that only leftovers are facing him.

All Might's punch is a feint. By moving his remaining power to the opposite arm mid-clash he defeats Impact Recoil at the cost of the right arm, then connects with All For One's face.

Chapter ninety-three runs nineteen pages and ran in issue 27 of 2016, released June 6, collected in Volume 11 as part of the Hideout Raid arc. All Might and Gran Torino appear on the cover, and the material adapts into Episode 49.
