Summary

Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto sit in an airport terminal waiting on the flight that will carry them abroad. Nerves have Izuku writing the character for person on his palm over and over; Shoto tells him the trick only works if he swallows it afterward, and suggests he simply remember his English. The two then notice Katsuki setting off a small Explosion in his hand and eating that, which they read as the same jitters. He snaps back that he is only trying to focus so he performs at his peak.

Hawks and Fumikage turn up behind them with a comment about Katsuki's coping method, and Izuku blurts their names loudly enough that the entire terminal notices. A crowd of fans swallows the pair and drags them off. Endeavor arrives next to collect his three interns, and everyone in the airport quietly gives the Flame Hero a wide berth. Shoto looks at the seating and objects: he is placed beside his father with Izuku and Katsuki behind them, and he would rather sit with his friends. Endeavor testily says that should be easy enough, Katsuki loudly disputes ever having been called anyone's friend, and the three of them slide into a full argument while Izuku scribbles more characters on his hand and despairs at the state of the country's number one agency.

Hawks reappears and cuts the squabble short with his Fierce Wings, then redistributes the tickets: Katsuki next to Endeavor, Shoto next to Izuku. Everyone comes out satisfied. Shoto gets his friend, Endeavor gets his son directly behind him, Katsuki gets a captive audience to interrogate about raw power, and Izuku just gets peace. His work done, Hawks says his goodbyes, mentions he and Fumikage are bound for America, and tells them to brace for the World Heroes' Mission before the mob hauls the two of them away again.

Far off in Otheon, Rody Soul grumbles about the noise as a plane comes in overhead.
