Akebi Sanzu is the late daughter of the Kara scientist Amado, and losing her set the whole course of his work. Her preserved genetics seeded the cyborg Delta, while her digitized memories became the prize her father spent years struggling to restore into a body that would truly be her again.
Because Delta was grown straight from Akebi's genetic material, the cyborg carries a face and build almost indistinguishable from the woman who supplied them.
By Ada's account, Akebi was an ordinary woman whose temperament had nothing in common with Delta's volatile, aggressive streak.
Akebi fell victim to an incurable sickness that no one could trace to any source. After her physicians exhausted their options and abandoned the case, Amado, already familiar with cloning, decided it was wiser to grow her a fresh body than to invent a cure from nothing. She did not survive the roughly nine months her clone needed to mature.
Undaunted by her death, Amado had kept her brain intact and copied her memories into digital storage as a backup. Yet when that data was loaded into the new body, the resulting clone held every memory while behaving like a stranger, a wholly separate person. He rebuilt her repeatedly without ever recovering who she had been, and the failures finally broke him. Those clones came to be known as Delta. It was in that despair that Jigen offered him a place in Kara, dangling the promise of a reunion with his child.
Later, once Amado grasped that Isshiki Otsutsuki meant to erase all life and render any revival pointless, he turned against that plan instead. His study of the Otsutsuki taught him that the Kama could rebuild a personality in exactly the way he never could, so when he repaired Kawaki's Kama after Isshiki's soul was gone, he quietly seeded it with Akebi's data, betting that Kawaki would one day place the mark on a clone and finally bring her back.

We ranked the six most popular women of Naruto from worst to first, and our number one is going to start a fight. The official poll got it wrong....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
Amado's daughter is Akebi Sanzu, whose death set the whole course of his work in the Kara organization.

Delta, the Kara cyborg, was grown directly from Akebi Sanzu's genetic material, giving Delta a face and build nearly identical to Akebi's, though Delta's volatile personality has nothing in common with the ordinary woman Akebi was.
Not fully. Despite digitizing her memories and repeatedly cloning her body, each attempt produced a stranger rather than Akebi Sanzu herself, though Amado later seeded Kawaki's Kama with her data, hoping a future clone might finally bring her back.
