Aoda

Aoda is an enormous blue snake with pale green eyes, ranking among the largest of summoned creatures and rising well above trees, rooftops, and rock spires. Like others of his kind, heat-sensing pits line his snout.

In sharp contrast to the ferocious Manda, Aoda is gentle and impeccably polite, addressing Sasuke with an honorific and obeying him without question out of gratitude for a rescued life. That loyalty carries over to Sasuke's kin, and he guarded Sarada Uchiha and took orders from her during the search for Mitsuki. Straightforward by nature, he maintains that humans hold no appeal to him as prey.

Swift and agile despite his bulk, with strength said to rival Manda's, Aoda proved his worth at the climax of the Fourth Shinobi World War. Summoned alongside Katsuyu and Gamakichi, he threaded Sasuke through waves of Ten-Tails clones so his summoner could loose a combined assault with Naruto, until the beast seized him and Sasuke ordered him to withdraw.

Later, during the search for Mitsuki, he halted the rampaging Garaga to save Sarada inside the Ryuchi Cave and, moved by her resolve, lent her his aid, helping restrain the beast before he was left too battered to continue. As he retreated he warned the genin never to touch Garaga's petrifying Reverse Scale directly.
