Banna is a resident of the Land of Water who parades around impersonating Naruto Uzumaki. A hulking but good-natured man, he is drawn into his friend Iggy's scheme to win false glory by pretending to have beaten the real Naruto.
Banna cuts a bulky, muscular figure, his face largely buried under a beard and topped with short, spiky red hair. His outfit is a green jacket stripped of its sleeves worn over a yellow shirt, finished with trousers, sandals, and guards on his arms. While playing the part of Naruto Uzumaki, he tops it off with a forehead protector whose Konoha emblem is mounted backwards.
Beneath the intimidating frame sits a gentle temperament. Banna is warm and considerate, qualities his friend Iggy was happy to take advantage of, and he stayed cheerful in spite of the cruelty he weathered growing up.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Childhood was hard on Banna, who drew mockery for the way he looked and found only one friend in a boy named Iggy. That friendship set up the con he pulls during Paradise Life on a Boat. Passing himself off as Naruto Uzumaki, he ambushes Naruto, Yamato, Aoba, and Guy in the Land of Water, only to freeze when he realizes the genuine article is standing before him. He fights anyway, loses, and ends up bound.
Iggy then arrives posing as a lawman to take him away, and once the Leaf ninja depart he frees Banna, revealing the pair had staged everything so Iggy could claim credit for defeating Naruto. The plan sours when mercenary ninja, drawn by news of Naruto's presence, seize Banna. A nervous Iggy springs him, their attempt to fend off the mercenaries fails, and it is the Konoha shinobi who ultimately rescue them and join the fight. For all his bulk, Banna's standout trait in combat is raw power, enough to swing a massive club one-handed with ease.
