Doragu cuts an imposing figure within Hozuki Castle. The reputation he has built lends him the bearing of a boss, one that other criminals defer to and treat as the man to follow.

Personality

Beneath the swagger, Doragu is a manipulator. He climbed to prominence among the prisoners by trading information, making himself indispensable while steering others into doing his bidding. His authority, however, rests on a lie: Benga engineered the whole reputation to plant a useful snitch among the inmates. So while Doragu plays the arrogant boss in front of the others, he turns meek and obedient whenever Benga is near.

History

During the effort to move Kokuri into their cell, Boruto and Mitsuki find their plan blocked by Benga and go looking for leverage against him. Arai leads them to Doragu, who confirms he holds exactly that kind of dirt but will not hand it over freely. He first tries to lengthen Boruto's sentence by baiting him into stealing the lighthouse bulb, and only when Boruto slips the trap does he reveal that Benga has taken many bribes.

Later, asked about the ships that dock at the prison, Doragu answers the boy but promptly reports the odd questioning to Benga. A nighttime run-in with Kedama exposes his role as the guard's snitch, and Kedama cows him into silence. Once Benga is brought down, Doragu's borrowed influence collapses, leaving him to keep his head low around the other inmates.
