Edashi was a resident of the Land of Ancestors and a close friend of Asura Ōtsutsuki, sharing in the adventures and dangers of that ancient community. A follower of Ninshū, he stood among the companions who witnessed Asura's rise as Hagoromo's chosen heir.
Of middling height, Edashi has cropped black hair, dark eyes, and a faint stubble across his jaw. He goes about in grey trousers and a beige shirt beneath a long, sleeveless lilac cloak, and notably keeps his feet bare of any footwear. In childhood he wore a simple beige shirt.
A taste for adventure marked Edashi from boyhood, when he trailed after his friends to chase down a marauding boar without a second thought. Grown, that spirit softened into concern for those he cared about, seen in his carrying word of Asura's departure to Taizō.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
The trouble began when a wild boar started raiding the villagers' gardens and wrecking their crops. Taizō rallied his friends to hunt the beast, and though Gasuka warned of the risk, the group pressed on trusting Asura's Ninshū to shield them, with Edashi speaking up about the damage the animal had done. The hunt turned dangerous when the boar rounded on Asura and killed Shiro, who had thrown himself in the way, leaving Edashi and the others to take cover in a tree until Indra arrived to save his brother.
Long after, now grown, Edashi and Gasuka sought out Taizō in his hillside hut to tell him Hagoromo had sent Asura away on a mission. When Asura was later named Hagoromo's successor, Edashi was present at the celebration, having first helped hold off a resentful Indra. Like nearly everyone raised in that land, he followed Ninshū, which let him wield chakra and pass it to others when the need arose.
