Hidari is a former shinobi who became a mercenary alongside his partner Ashimaru after the Fourth Shinobi World War. Sadistic yet quick to lose his nerve, he terrorized the village of Green Banks in a scheme to seize the deed to its bridge.
A tall man of pale skin, Hidari wears his brown hair long with short bangs falling over his ears. Beaded white earrings hang at his lobes, and he dresses in black trousers beneath a white robe that carries only a left sleeve, leaving his bandage-wrapped right arm bare. Red paint masks his eyes and forehead.
Cruelty comes easily to Hidari, who kills onlookers for sport and thinks nothing of betraying whoever hires him if it serves his own gain. The calmer world that followed the Fourth Shinobi World War revolted him, and he turned rogue in contempt of it, convinced the Five Great Shinobi Countries had grown soft. For all his viciousness, though, he is a coward at heart, and his resolve deserts him the moment he meets someone clearly beyond his strength.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
With the great war over, Hidari and Ashimaru found themselves out of work and began hiring out for jobs directly. Fifteen years on, a man named Iori engaged them to obtain the deed to the Green Banks bridge; Hidari supplied the poison Iori used to murder the village's head and then spent three months harrying the community to pry the deed from its new leader, Kiri. A cunning tactician skilled in manipulation, Earth Release, and the sealing arts, he could also bend crowds to his will with Yin Release genjutsu. When Kiri appealed to Konoha for help, Hidari plotted to abduct and ransom her, and once Iori had captured her, he and Ashimaru turned on their employer and killed him. Setting his sights on the Konoha ninja, Hidari squared off against Konohamaru Sarutobi while sending Ashimaru after the genin. He briefly ensnared the jonin, but Konohamaru broke free with his Rasengan, and when the sheer force of the technique shattered the rock beside him, Hidari collapsed in terror.
In Naruto, Hidari's name means left or left-hand.
