Iori is a grasping villager of Green Banks whose plot to seize a valuable bridge drives the Boruto-era Genin Mission Arc. His readiness to poison, kidnap, and trust the wrong hired blades ends up turning his own scheme against him.
Short and thickset, Iori keeps his brown hair cropped close and sports a small goatee beneath purple eyes. His outfit layers a green vest trimmed in yellow over a grey jacket with bandaged sleeves, finished off with dark green trousers and plain sandals.
Dishonesty and greed defined him. Loyal to no one but himself, Iori chased whatever route promised the fastest payout, and he saw the Green Banks bridge as his ticket to a fortune. He felt no guilt about murdering the village head or abducting the man's daughter, Kiri. That same greed made him reckless: he brought in men he assumed were reputable, legitimate ninja to help with his crimes, never suspecting they were renegades, and simply expected everything to fall into place. His naivety would cost him his life.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
When the Pale Blue Valley offered to purchase the deed to the Green Banks bridge, Iori decided to clear his path to the money. Believing them to be trustworthy shinobi, he engaged Hidari and Ashimaru, obtained poison from the pair, and used it to kill Tofu, the village head.
He counted on Kiri, the new head, to manage things on her own, and grew frustrated when she instead brought in Konohagakure for help. With his hired ninja, Iori seized Kiri during a moment of division. While he boasted about how neatly it had all come together, Hidari and Ashimaru turned on him and stabbed him, and he died in horror at his own undoing.
