Monju is a wire-wielding member of the outlaw band Shinobazu, a cruel and cunning fighter who turns razor-sharp threads into cages, snares, and slicing traps. His pursuit of the escort target Gantetsu pits him against Naruto and Todoroki.
Monju's look is strikingly androgynous. Light-blue hair falls to his neck, pushed back with a purple band, and his eyes are dark. Bangs drape across the left side of his face and hide that eye, while the hair near his neck fans outward to either side and a lone strand hangs past his right ear. He dresses in shorts and a purple tank top marked with an unusual symbol, adds orange armbands, and paints his long nails. In place of the sandals most ninja favour, he laces up brown boots.
Sly and pitiless, Monju treats brutality as routine. In even a minor scuffle with Akio he comes out on top, trusses his opponent in metal wire, and dangles a death threat to squeeze out information about Gantetsu. Once Naruto and Todoroki are ensnared, he feels no urgency at all, simply walking off with his captive and giggling to himself.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Monju fights entirely through the control of metal wires, and his command of them is broad. Feeding chakra into the strands sharpens them enough to shear through heavy doors, walls, and even a full-sized boat. He can just as easily use them to lash a target still, springing efficient traps; wrapped around an enemy, the wires tighten and slice as the temperature climbs, or he can simply constrict them as a means of torture. For defence he weaves a Wire Cage that turns aside most taijutsu. Their one flaw is moisture, which weakens the threads, a gap Naruto spots when he tries to gnaw through them.
Sent to seize Gantetsu, Monju halves a boat with his Murderous Grasp and later nets the prisoner, leaving Naruto and Todoroki tangled in wires that constrict with the heat. When the fight finally turns against him, a swarm of shadow clones grabs his lines and knocks him senseless, and Rock Lee finishes the job with the Leaf Whirlwind, leaving his fate uncertain.
