Yamame is an ordinary resident of the Land of Water and a lifelong friend of Iwana and Kagura Karatachi. A carpenter by trade, he threw himself into defending his village when the Funato clan threatened it, and he kept his late friend Kagura's memory alive.
A moderately tall young man, Yamame has dark eyes and short brown hair that stands up in spikes, its bangs shaded lighter than the rest. He layers a purple tank top over a white shirt and rounds out the look with plain trousers and sandals.
Warmth and good cheer define him. Yamame holds shinobi in high regard, treating them as the village's best hope of survival, and he will give up his own meals so they can eat instead. He also holds tight to the memory of his late friend Kagura.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Yamame lives as an everyday resident of the Land of Water. In his younger days he was close with Iwana, and when Kagura Karatachi arrived and kept apart from the other children, the two boys reached out and drew him into their circle. Rather than fight, Yamame works with his hands, throwing up fences and barricades quickly alongside Iwana and Kyoho Fuefuki.
Long after Kagura had gone, he returned to warn the pair that Funato clan elite units would cut through their village on the way to Kirigakure, and Yamame agreed to help defend it. He and Iwana pitched in when Kyoho began felling trees for the defences, then repaired the damage after the first assault while grieving. When the elite forces struck again, the villagers took shelter and begged Boruto to avenge Kagura, and afterward they rebuilt the place sturdier than before. Yamame stood with those who opposed interrogating a wounded Funato soldier, asked the pardoned Kyoho to stay on as a protector, and later spread word among the villagers of the coming clash between the Funato and Kirigakure.
