Boruto boards a Funato ship to plead for peace with Ikada, whose grief has hardened into a vow to destroy Kirigakure. Every appeal to their shared losses is met with hatred, until Boruto offers the one thing that might stop the bloodshed.
Team 7 nears the Funato fleet, and Ikada lets them approach only to shatter their borrowed vessel with a waterspout, forcing Mitsuki to haul Boruto and Sarada aboard the enemy ship as Kirigakure listens from a distance. Boruto asks the Funato to end the war, explaining that Chōjūrō has agreed to stand down if they do the same, but Araumi laughs off the offer and neither he nor Ikada trusts the Mizukage's word. Araumi warns the intruders they will not leave alive and departs to handle another matter, leaving Ikada set on fighting until one side falls.
Boruto reminds Ikada of his old dream to build a great ship, sail the world, and link distant islands and people through trade, but Ikada says that dream died with Seiren and conjures waterspouts around the ship. He blames Team 7 and Kirigakure for the deaths of his siblings and Funamushi, confessing he always felt inferior as the only family member without power and that shipbuilding was merely an excuse he told himself; now that he has strength, he means to command the Funato and wipe the Hidden Mist away. As the waterspouts fade, the Funato's mobile fortress arrives with its Chakra Cannon charging toward the Shinonome 1.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Boruto tells Ikada he understands his pain, remembering his own grief over Kagura, but the plea only earns a blow and the accusation that Boruto has abandoned the past. Ikada summons a boy named Kobuna, whose hatred mirrors Boruto's own after Kagura, and demands the Mizukage's head as the price of peace. Kawaki trails Araumi to the cannon aboard the fortress. Unable to meet Ikada's terms, Boruto instead puts his own life on the line. The episode runs within the Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure arc of the Boruto anime.
