A Shippuden flashback episode spotlighting Tenten, who recalls an early errand to fetch weapons from an eccentric craftsman and the fight that let her lead her squad and fall for a one-of-a-kind armament.
In the aftermath of Pain's assault on the village, Neji and Tenten are dispatched to a detached weapons research office to gather fresh armaments. Crossing toward the facility, Tenten drifts into a memory of her previous visit there. Back then, with the Leaf's forces thinned by the earlier invasion, Team Guy had been sent to a smith named Io to collect a thousand shuriken and a thousand kunai, with Naruto standing in for the injured Lee.
Rather than hand over the requested gear, Io showed the squad a batch of impractical inventions. During a snack break the team returned to find the smith gone, then discovered he had holed up behind a trap-laden wall. Tenten cleared every obstacle and reached a chamber holding Io's finest creations. At the same time, two ruffians named Gameru and Kusune arrived intent on stealing everything, wielding the prototype weapons Dako and Tsurukame to easily overwhelm Naruto and Neji.
Tenten turned the fight around by taking up Io's newest tool, Jidanda, and beating the pair. Afterward she asked to keep the weapon, but Io refused, wanting to refine it further. In the present, Neji breaks Tenten out of her reverie as they cross the bridge, and she finds herself wondering whether Io ever perfected the Jidanda.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
