Regeneration

Team 7 reels as Boro knits himself back together and boasts of a body no shinobi could ever fell. Baffled by Boruto's talk of antibodies against his virus, he works out that Mitsuki drew them from the blood spilled when a snake bit him earlier. Boruto jeers that the plague no longer bites, and Sarada cautions him against dropping his guard as the team sets up a pincer strike. Fixating on Kawaki's glances toward the seal holding Naruto, Boro charges it, wrecking their formation, loosing fresh viruses, and hurling shuriken. Kawaki blocks with his transformed arm, but the sparks touch off a flammable mist laced through the virus.

Because that same volatile substance now hangs in the air, Sarada rules out her Fire and Lightning Release, and Boro melts her shuriken with Lava Release. Piece by piece the team blows Boro apart, yet he always reforms, so Kawaki reveals a plan and asks for relentless pressure. Recalling that his scientific ninja tools demand a core to fuel regeneration on this scale, Sarada studies him with her Sharingan for its location. She spots something shifting inside him each time Boruto lands a Rasengan and pins down where the core hides, but cannot warn the others without tipping Boro off. Reasoning that only one technique moves fast enough to strike before he shields it, she commits to the Chidori despite never having used it in a real fight.

Boruto reads her intent and screens the move with smoke bombs and a Vanishing Rasengan that tears off Boro's arm, and Sarada's Chidori lands exactly where she aimed, destroying the core. His tools misfire, swelling him into a raging giant, so the team pivots to freeing Naruto, using their Kāma to gate the space inside the seal the way they entered the dimension. Naruto is drawn out unconscious, though his working prosthetic reassures them. Boro's enlarged form overwhelms the group, flattening Kawaki and Sarada, until a floating Boruto, seized and voiced by Momoshiki, sneers down at the creature. The episode adapts chapters 41 through 43 of the Boruto manga.
