Set on the eve of Naruto and Hinata's wedding, this Shippuden episode follows their friends scrambling to arrange gifts and duty rosters so nobody has to miss the celebration. A hush-hush gift-gathering errand and Konohamaru's search for the right words drive the lighthearted lead-up.
As Hokage, Kakashi sorts through wedding presents for Naruto and Hinata alongside Shizune and mulls over which shinobi to keep on duty. Out on a walk he crosses paths with Hinata, who is off to see the other kunoichi. Konohamaru, meanwhile, corners Iruka at Ramen Ichiraku and pushes him to finally record a congratulatory message, though Iruka struggles to pin down his place in Naruto's life, recalling how Gaara chose to honor Naruto as a friend rather than as a Kage.
The secret errand to collect wedding gifts nearly slips out twice, once from Sakura while she sits with Hinata and again from Kiba among Team 8. When Tsunade visits the office and hears about the gift judging, an eavesdropping Konohamaru resolves to submit his video without Iruka's contribution. Word of the judging soon reaches Hinata and upsets her, sending her to Kakashi. The friends propose rotating between assignments and the reception so that everyone can attend, and Tsunade reminds Kakashi that the old rule dates to a wartime rush of shinobi marriages and that the choice is his to make. A misunderstanding leads Iruka to apologize on Naruto's behalf, which Hinata finds hilarious, and his talk with Kakashi sparks an idea. Kakashi ends up asking the other Kage whether they can lend shinobi to cover the wedding-day missions.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
