Summary

The attackers turn out to be Oboro's trio from the Chunin Exams, now working for hire on behalf of a rival family. As the Leaf ninja shield their charge, they urge Idate to make for land alone and promise to catch up. He reaches the shore only to run straight into Aoi, who commands the Rain ninja.
